Welcome here! My name is Linda Commandeur and I am living together with my partner and our cat in a small village on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug.

 

In daily life I work as a trainer in leadership and communication skills. My inspiration I get from traveling to unknown destinations and photography.

Since 2000 I make pictures of the people I meet when travelling. Don't call me for the hotspot places to sleep or best restaurants to eat. I travel and photograph because of the people. With my camera I connect with beautiful, interesting people who show me around in their world. This leads often to warm and cheerful encounters. To connect with each other, sometimes with hands and feet, I slow down and make space for connection. It is this connection that fills me with joy and sometimes it radiates back on the faces of the people I photograph.
